Redman - Bars (produced by @th3oryhazit)

Legendary NJ rapper Redman recently dropped his 8th studio album, Mudface and has been showing much praise to none other than Portland Producer/MC, Theory Hazit. “That’s Oregon’s finest, the beats he has been giving me been phenomenal" say Redman in a recent interview with DJ Klyph, also shouting out Theory's talents on the Combat Jack Show, BET 2015 Hip Hop Awards, and in a recent BTS video withWatchLoud. Confirmed for his next album Muddy Waters 2 it looks like more music from Theory and Redman is on the way as well. Be sure to support Redman's new effort and check out more from Theory Hazit if you haven't already including production on Kokane's new project and recent collab with Johaz, Blu and more!
More Info On Theory Hazit
Emcee/Producer/Deejay Theory Hazit born in Winchester Kentucky, exploded onto the scene with the release of his debut album “Extra Credit” on the label Hip Hop Is Music in 2007. However Theory Hazit’s discography extends well before “Extra Credit” dropped. From mixtapes, to beat tapes the Kentucky artist has had his hands on a lot of projects both solo and otherwise.

Once Theory’s “Extra Credit” LP dropped his popularity exploded, the Scribbling Idiot emcee brought a nice mix of raw lyricism and introspective raps. Reflecting on his life ,telling the stories of those close to him all while keeping the true soul of hip-hop alive. For most artists after having a successful debut, they’ll take some time off before working on their sophomore effort and sometimes that effort isn’t well received. Not the case for Theory Hazit who in 2008 released “Lord Fire” his collaborative album with producer Vintage. A 17 track effort the duo released this album independently and with that they released even more bonus joints to their already classic project.
Fast forward about a year or two later (during which Theory released two more projects in “Modern Marvels” with Toni Shift and Lord Fire 2 with Beus Bengal) and Theory Hazit signed to a new collective called Humble Beast. Theory had his hand in production and verses for a multitude of projects with artists including Beautiful Eulogy, Propaganda, Citizen Aim (RIP) and more. During his time there he released the “The Rock Steady EP” and “Thr3e” an LP produced by Dert. The latter of the two received critical acclaim, the production change-up along with Theory taking us deeper into his internal struggles while still bodying emcees, gave Theory Hazit yet another classic to add to his arsenal.
In the summer of 2013 Theory Hazit left Humble Beast to pursue his own endeavors and dropped “Monolith Monster” with Cream of Beats (as the duo DC Comets) through his newly founded label Wetwork . We saw Theory collaborate with some new faces like Mr. Brady, Jermiside, Wordsworth, Fresh Daily and more. Here in 2015 the prolific gifted emcee signed on with Soulspazm and dropped his solo LP “Fall of the Lightbearer”. Theory changed it up a bit and produced the majority of the project and did not hold back lyrically from where he had been the past couple of years. One side of Theory Hazit’s career that gets overlooked is his production, he’s produced for greats like Masta Ace, Sojourn (of Future Shock), The Strange Fruit Project, LMNO, SevStatik and more.
