Diggin In The Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.) is a N.Y.-based hip-hop collective consisting of members: MC-turned-producer Lord Finesse, notable producer Diamond D (Former member of the rap group. In ‘92, Diamond D trasitioned from DJing to producing and MCing), Bronx native Fat Joe (the first N.Y. lation rapper to secure a solo major label record back in ‘93), Prolific producer Showbiz and Bronx “punchline” rapper A.G., Bronx native Buckwild (started out as Lord Finesse’s protégé back in 1994. Producing tracks for rap heavyweights The Notorious B.I.G. [“I Got A Story To Tell”], Mic Geronimo [“Masta I.C.”], Black Rob [2000 hit, “Whoa”], OC, Big L, and Fat Joe established him as a vital beatmaker in underground hip-hop scene), and the flamboyant Harlem punchline king Big L. The Diggin In The Crates Crew derived its name from finding obscure hard-to-find vinyl LP’s and producing some of the best tracks in hip-hop history.
